The echos of so many stories

So many aching and broken hearts

Can you hear this?

As I take one step farther and farther away

How is this possible and how can it be?

Standing here on the edge watching the lights change color

Sitting hear in the car with nothing but mist and water in my view

It wasn't supposed to be like this

It wasn't meant to ache and somewhat break like this
